Nuchal Translucency Testing

A Nuchal Translucency testing or NT is a test preformed during early pregnancy between 11 weeks and 13 weeks 5 days. It uses ultrasound to measure the thickness of the fluid buildup on the back of baby's neck. If this area is thicker than normal, it could represent a chromosomal abnormality such as Down Syndrome, Trisomy 18, or heart problems.
